Technical Design Fundamentals, What you Need to Know

Come to this session ready to learn all about the “engineering” side of our industry, Technical Design, including pattern engineering, development, & design! We will work together to learn all about tech packs (your contract with your factory), fittings and how flat patterns play a huge role in creating a perfect garment. Technical Designers are like the engineers of the apparel industry, you need to be able to lead in fittings and manage your team. Being detailed, accurate and consistent are key traits to becoming a successful Technical Designer. Slow down to speed up in this role by taking your time until you are a master!
