My work explores the relationship between humans and nature, reflecting our role as stewards of the planet. Inspired by historic and contemporary designers and the natural world, I merge functionality with aesthetics, while focused on sustainability and conscious design.
To minimize environmental impact, I use deadstock and upcycled fabrics and prioritize limited waste patterns. I also find innovative ways to reincorporate textile waste and cutoffs back into my work, contributing to a circular design process." Emma Young
